Job Title: School Driver – SEN School Location: Thorne, DoncasterHours: Part-time, Split Shift (8:00-10:00 AM & 2:00-4:00 PM)Start Date: ASAPPay: Competitive, dependent on experienceAre you a reliable and compassionate driver with a clean licence and a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated School Driver to join a warm and welcoming SEN school in Thorne, Doncaster.About the Role:

• Transport children with special educational needs safely from their homes to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon.
• Split-shift hours: 8:00-10:00 AM and 2:00-4:00 PM, term-time only.
• Potential opportunity to take on additional responsibilities during the school day if you have experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
• You will be supported by a passenger assistant (escort) when transporting children.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with no points (clean licence is essential).
• Experience working in a similar role, ideally transporting vulnerable individuals or children with additional needs.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, patience, and a caring attitude.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to build positive relationships with children and families.

Desirable:

• Experience working in or with SEN schools or settings.
• Knowledge of safe handling and transport protocols for children with complex needs.
