Job Summary: Reed is recruiting on behalf of an established Distribution company based in Bradford, our client is looking to appoint a Sales Manager for their Wholesales department. This role will be pivotal in increasing revenue, margin, and overall department profitability. The role involves constant data analysis to monitor sales expectations, determine business and customer strategies, and track trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the overall business objectives. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for business growth. Collaborate with senior management to set achievable sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with key customers. Act as the primary liaison between representatives, customers, and internal teams to address their needs and provide tailored solutions. Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with key customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover new business opportunities.
- Sales Execution: Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies.
