We are looking for a Residential Care Worker to assist the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's mission statement and values. This role involves supporting the team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
  • Ensure each shift is planned and resources are allocated.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
  • Offer supervision and support to staff in line with National Minimum Standards.
  • Maintain accurate written records and ensure compliance with National Minimum Standards.
  • Develop routines in consultation with young people and staff concerning all aspects of child care.
  • Manage administrative issues and provide weekly management information reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Desire to work towards obtaining Diploma Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce.
  • 6 months relevant experience.
