Regional Sales Manager Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm Location: UK (requires travel within the territory) Our client is the technical market leader in the design, development, manufacture and supply of modular bolted Glass-Fused-to-Steel, Fusion Bonded epoxy coated and stainless-steel containment storage solutions. They are committed to providing the highest quality internationally recognised tanks and silos through its extensive global network of distributors who are responsible for customer supply and installation Our client is seeking a proactive and dynamic Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to oversee the UK sales territory. The RSM will be instrumental in developing and managing effective relationships with key decision-makers across municipal and industrial sectors, ensuring the brand and value propositions are well communicated and understood. This role involves a strategic balance of 70% business development and 30% distribution support, working closely with partners to maximise growth and performance. Day-to-Day of the Role: Develop and manage an effective distribution channel aligning with client’s vision and strategy. Promote co-marketing activities, product training, and conduct purchaser and end-customer visits. Utilise specification sales techniques to leverage product quality and brand reputation. Maintain pricing and margin recovery as per the company’s business plan and product strategies. Produce high-quality sales and marketing activity forecasts (monthly, quarterly, and annually). Liaise with distributors, customers, and internal departments to ensure specifications meet customer requirements. Conduct commercial negotiations to secure orders that meet company standards. Find, appoint, train, and monitor new distributors, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Regularly report sales activities and market insights to the Sales Director. Lead the company’s presence at regional trade exhibitions and other duties as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft TEAMS. Experience in a technical sales manager role, preferably working through a distributor sales network. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel extensively within the territory. A degree or equivalent experience in a related field is advantageous.
