Supply Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Teacher – Immediate Start – Sittingbourne, Kent

We’re currently recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner, or a Teacher with QTS or PGCE in Early Years, to join a lovely, fast-paced nursery in Sittingbourne, Kent on a supply basis for the next 2–3 weeks.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Teacher, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting children’s emotional, physical, and educational development
  • Observing and recording children’s progress
  • Working collaboratively with the nursery team and parents
  • Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are met at all times

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education OR QTS / PGCE with Early Years specialism
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
