Job Description
A global investment bank is currently recruiting for Project Finance Debt Distribution (Syndicate) Associate within DAR PF & Rail (EMEA).
The role will be based in Liverpool street and will including hybrid working with a bank wide policy of 3 days attendance per week.
Responsible for supporting the Head of DAR PF & Rail (EMEA) in originating, pricing, structuring and syndicating loans and other private debt issuance (bonds, notes, n-bonds etc) for specialist project finance/ Rail /core+ infrastructure assets, primarily for issuers in the following sectors; Infrastructure, Rail, Power & Renewables and Resources & Industry.
Plus supporting where appropriate the PF Sales team to distribute these products to banks and investors in primary or secondary or supporting the ERA advisory teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Origination Support: Assist in the origination activities of EIG/Rail, ensuring project finance loans and private placements are well-structured and attract investor demand.
- Market Analysis: Provide pricing insights, comparable deal analysis, and sector-focused investor coverage to inform transaction structuring.
- Transaction Execution: Support syndication efforts across primary and secondary markets, ensuring successful distribution to banks and institutional investors.
- Syndication Strategy: Contribute to the preparation of syndication opinions, investor feedback, and coordination with sales teams to maximize deal success.
- Documentation Review: Assist in the evaluation of term sheets, loan agreements, financial models, and due diligence materials from a syndication perspective.
- Investor Relations: Maintain direct engagement with investors, answering Q&A during credit approvals and monitoring liquidity trends.
- Reporting & Coordination: Prepare status updates, closing memorandums, book runner calls, and validate final allocations with key stakeholders.
- Secondary Market Strategy: Develop secondary sell down strategies, update AXE sheets, and provide structured sales briefings.
- Cross-Sector Collaboration: Support transactions in Aviation, Shipping, Real Estate, or other relevant sectors when required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Background in structured finance, project finance, or loan syndication within banking or capital markets.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling, deal structuring, pricing analysis, and documentation review capabilities.
- Market Awareness: In-depth knowledge of investor trends, liquidity analysis, and private debt financing structures.
