Join Our Client's Team as a Process Operator! Are you committed to making a difference in environmental sustainability? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for operational efficiency? We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Process Operator to join our Client's team at the Wastewater Treatment Works in Wigan. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the wastewater treatment processes run smoothly and effectively, safeguarding the environment and the health of our communities.

  • Hours: £16.04 per hour PAYE - Monday to Friday 7:00-15:00
  • Address: Wastewater Treatment Works and site visits around the area
  • Contract details: 6 months contract, with a possibility to go permanent

What will you do?

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater and odour control equipment and facilities.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain biological, chemical, mechanical, and hydraulic processes at wastewater treatment plants, collection system pump and regulator stations and associated facilities.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Collect and analyse water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational data and report any anomalies or issues.
