We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a similar position, who is fully compliant with a clear enhanced DBS on the update service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks to ensure the school operates smoothly and efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the reception area, greeting and directing visitors, and handling parent enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate student records and staff files in compliance with data protection laws.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and postal mail.
  • Assist with the organisation and storage of supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and support staff and teachers with administrative tasks.
  • Process student applications and maintain updated records of student attendance and achievements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a School Administrator or similar administrative role.
  • Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good IT skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Must possess a clear enhanced DBS check on the update service and be fully compliant.
