We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our team in a dual role as a Year 2 Class Teacher on Tuesdays and a Whole School Cover Teacher on Wednesdays. This position is ideal for a flexible and committed educator who enjoys variety and working across different year groups.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Year 2 Teacher (Tuesdays)
    • Job share with the current Year 2 teacher.
    • Curriculum areas to be agreed based on your skills and interests.
    • Focus on early reading, including Phase 6 phonics.
    • Manage a class of 20 pupils, with no high-level needs.
  • Cover Teacher (Wednesdays)
    • Morning: Provide cover for classes during leadership release time.
    • Afternoon: Deliver PPA cover for Year 1 and Year 2, with subjects based on your expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching KS1, particularly Year 2.
  • Strong understanding of phonics and early reading development.
  • Ability to adapt and teach across different subjects and year groups.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
