Plumber

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch
  • Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 + van 

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our Clients team, focusing on social housing maintenance. This role involves working on void properties and providing reactive maintenance to tenants. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairs to domestic plumbing installations and ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction is achieved.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct repairs to domestic plumbing installations, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Install replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays, level decks, and associated equipment.
  • Fit kitchen sinks and new pipework including copper, speed fit, waste, and rainwater systems.
  • Install new sundry items such as taps and ball valves and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Work on installing and repairing water mains supplies, heating system pipework, and drainage stop taps.
  • Handle the installation and repair of domestic appliances like showers and washing machines.
  • Perform maintenance and renewal of cold water storage tanks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Plumber.
  • Familiarity with all types of plumbing work mentioned in the day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
