An established company in Leatherhead is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team. The role involves end-to-end payroll duties for approximately 900 salaried employees and 200 bank staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Cascade payroll system (IRIS Cascade) and be adept at managing payroll inboxes and handling queries.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Processing end-to-end payroll for salaried employees and bank staff.
- Managing the payroll inbox, responding to and resolving queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations in line with company policies and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with pension administration.
- Familiarity with Cascade payroll system is highly desirable (IRIS Cascade).
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills to handle payroll queries effectively.
