We are currently recruiting for a Payroll and Pensions Administrator on behalf of our client. This vital role involves overseeing and ensuring compliance and efficiency in vendor relationships and legislative adherence across the client's UK operations. The successful candidate will manage payroll and pensions for 2,400 employees spread over 24 business lines, guarantee full compliance with Core Mandatory Controls (CMC) for Payroll and Pensions, and support the execution of the HR Technology Roadmap.

Reporting to: Payroll and Pension Lead

Location: Brentwood

Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist with payroll / pension function inc. reporting
  • Assist with P11D benefit solution
  • Absence Management
  • Reconciliation of Edenred childcare vouchers
  • Provision of Sick calculations upon request
  • Statutory Calculations: Maternity, Paternities, AOE
  • Updating of Address changes, UPN changes
  • Assisting with Audit Requirements
  • Provision of National Statistics forms
  • Case Management: Answer payroll provider queries / Employee queries

Required skills and experience:

  • Good IT literacy skills, in particular, advance in excel and presentation
  • Proven background of working in a similar role of payrolling large numbers
  • Reporting writing skills in Systems business Intelligence, People soft and Oracle
  • Good eye for detail and work at pace as well as resilience to work load
  • Able to be flexible to business needs and generate ad-hoc reports
  • Ability to build effective relations internally and externally
  • Logical and Methodical mind set
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally/written
  • Strong team player
