Reed Engineering is collaborating with a major construction and commissioning specialist on a world-class LNG project in Western Australia. We are seeking 100 UK/Ireland-based Instrument Technicians for this landmark project. This opportunity includes visa sponsorship, flights, and initial accommodation.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Perform calibrations, loop checking, function testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation such as flow, level, temperature, and pressure transmitters.
- Test fire and gas systems.
- Manage shut-down and control valves on large industrial projects.
- Read, understand, and follow P&ID, data sheets, calibration reports, loop drawings, cause and effects, and supplier manuals.
- Use various types of test and calibration equipment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
- Work effectively within a dynamic testing and start-up team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Time-served in Instrumentation & Control.
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in the field.
- Experience in the Petrochemical / Oil & Gas industries is essential.
- Proven experience in installation, commissioning, fault finding, etc.
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as P&ID and loop drawings.
- Knowledge of Foundation Fieldbus is advantageous but not essential.
Visa, flights, and initial accommodation covered. Rotation schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off. Competitive pay rates with bonus potential.
