We are seeking a skilled Motor Rewinder to join our team. This role involves performing all aspects of rewinds on stators, armatures, rotors, and motors. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical fault diagnosis, testing, and the ability to interpret winding technical data sheets.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Perform complete rewinds on stators, armatures, rotors, and motors.
  • Conduct electrical fault diagnosis and perform testing to ensure efficient operations.
  • Interpret winding technical data sheets to accurately perform required tasks.
  • Prepare slot liners, phase papers, and other necessary materials.
  • Wind coils and hand insert coils, connecting them as needed.
  • Conduct electrical static checks using appropriate electrical test equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of parts and consumables used on jobs.
  • Communicate effectively, recording any issues and delays to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilise hand and power tools proficiently to perform tasks efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Motor Rewinder.
  • Strong understanding of electrical fault diagnosis and testing.
  • Ability to interpret technical data sheets related to motor winding.
  • Proficiency in using electrical test equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and experience with hand and power tools.
