This is a permanent position reporting to the Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be capable of undertaking marketing activities and work as part of a small team. This is a hands-on role that needs creative flair and a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing schedule with media partners.
- Ensure all artwork and articles are sent on time, tracked, recording marketing activity, producing post-event reports, and manage media zone at the show.
- Manage and be the main liaison for PR agency and photographers at the show.
- Work with the visitor registration company to understand the system.
- Responsible for content updates, resolving website issues.
- Manage the Exhibitor Hub and support all exhibitors with their forms, information and stand requirements.
- Liaison with visitor registration company to ensure smooth integration with show website and digital marketing strategy.
- Supervise the on-site build-up ensuring all feature areas are set up according to plans.
- Post-show analysis through surveys and registration data analysis.
- Manage, monitor and analyse integrated promotional campaigns.
- Create and manage weekly report on visitor targets.
- Data administration – fulfilling unsubscribe requests via Microsoft Dynamics and Mailchimp.
- Create and distribute email marketing via (Dotmailer, Mailchimp etc.).
- Deliver and update Excel project schedules for marketing activities.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a Marketing Executive, preferably in an events-related role.
- Experience of delivering marketing led activity for Events & Exhibitions would be advantageous.
- Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Desirable).
- A clear and open communicator, especially on the telephone.
- A team player, with a can-do attitude.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines even when under pressure.
- Clear and logical thinker willing to contribute to preparing plans.

- Based in Sutton.
- Up to £30,000.
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
