We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and develop our comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. This role is integral to enhancing our school's profile and engagement with the community, ensuring alignment with our ethos and strategic goals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver the annual marketing and communication strategy and budget in collaboration with the Head and Bursar.
- Monitor and report on KPIs using tools like Google Analytics and social media statistics, producing detailed reports on activities.
- Manage key digital metrics to inform future marketing activities and reach new customer segments.
- Analyse enquiry and admissions figures to inform and develop marketing strategies.
- Oversee the school’s survey and research plans, including gathering non-joiner information to drive admissions improvements.
- Implement marketing strategies through advertising, campaigns, and managing SEO and PPC campaigns with an agency.
- Manage the school and Sports Ground websites, ensuring content, style management, and design are up to standard.
- Oversee and develop the school’s social media presence and paid campaigns.
- Develop and lead public relations strategies, maintaining relationships with key press contacts and stakeholders.
- Organise and participate in open mornings and school tours to ensure prospective pupils and their parents have a positive experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the independent school sector.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media, CRM, and CMS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Ability to uphold the ethos and aims of the school and contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
