Management Accountant

Location: Office-based – Woodbridge, Suffolk

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for a proactive Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our client's dynamic Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of financial processes, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our client's Management Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of their financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts for business units and group consolidation, with insightful analysis.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand financial drivers and explain variances.
  • Providing daily financial guidance to operational and commercial teams.
  • Leading financial reviews with division heads and tracking budget performance.
  • Monitoring title investment returns and product profitability across channels and customers.
  • Managing month-end processes: journals, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  • Analysing stock turnover, profitability, and obsolescence.
  • Evaluating costs, pricing, and performance against business plans.
  • Overseeing production WIP and delivering variance analysis.
  • Preparing board packs and financial reports monthly and quarterly.
  • Leading KPI reviews and ensuring accurate VAT returns.
  • Driving forecasting, budgeting, and audit processes.
  • Managing group banking, invoice discounting, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Supporting finance teams across the business and handling ad hoc projects.
What We’re Looking For
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Strong commercial acumen and business insight.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
