Job Title: IHCD Technician / Associate Ambulance Practitioner (AAP) Location: The O2, London Shift Pattern: Shifts available: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday β 13:00 β 01:00 Role Overview: We are seeking qualified IHCD Technicians or Associate Ambulance Practitioners (AAP) to provide high-quality pre-hospital care and patient transport services at The O2 entertainment venue. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, responding to both emergency and non-emergency situations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during large-scale events. Key Responsibilities: Act as the lead clinician in the absence of a Paramedic. Provide immediate and effective care for patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. Safely operate event medical cover. Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and deliver life-saving interventions when required. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical governance standards. Ensure compliance with infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety protocols. Liaise with event staff, emergency services, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Essential Requirements: AAP: Level 4 Diploma in Associate Ambulance Practice (or equivalent). IHCD Technician: IHCD (Edexcel) Award (BTEC Level 3) or equivalent. Training in patient handling and associated equipment. Evidence of current or recent employment in an NHS Ambulance Service, MOD, or private provider OR proof of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) .
