Job Description
About Us: We are a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the heart of King's Lynn. Our school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team.
Working hours: 08.30 to 15.30 , Monday to Friday and Term-Time Only
Start date: April/May 2025, dependent on your availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record children's progress and development.
- Provide individual and group support to children as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other staff members.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
