One of our Legal clients based in the heart of Edinburgh have retained Reed’s services to secure a dedicated Legal Secretary with a focus on Conveyancing. This role involves preparing, transcribing, and formatting legal documents, handling client correspondence, and liaising with various professionals within the legal real estate sector.
- Job Type: Full-time (35 hours office based)
- Location: Edinburgh city centre
- Salary: £35,000
Day-to-day of the role:
- Format legal documents using digital dictation systems.
- Utilise a standard suite of forms for conveyancing.
- Produce accurate and professionally presented documentation within tight deadlines.
- Handle client and professional correspondence efficiently.
- Answer telephone calls and manage communication with solicitors, estate agents, and lenders.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all legal documents.
