Reed Business Support are working with a fantastic and award-winning solicitors in their search for a legal administrator/legal assistant to support the New Enquiries Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and administrative skills. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for new client enquiries, playing a vital role in the initial stages of our legal process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with new enquirers to gather detailed information about their experiences and potential claims.
  • Accurately record and prepare documentation for review by the screening solicitor.
  • Ensure all information is handled sensitively and in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Maintain clear and organised records of all enquiries.
  • Support fee earners with drafting legal documents as required (occasional).
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient enquiry process.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a client-facing or legal administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems (or willingness to learn).
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to client interaction.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
