Lecturer Independent Living Skills (ILS)
- Supporting a college in Rhondda Cynon Taff
- £25-£30 per hour
- Temporary ongoing basis
We are currently supporting a college in Rhondda Cynon Taff in their search for a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Independent Living Skills (ILS) to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to empowering learners with complex additional learning needs through inclusive and personalised teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging ILS sessions that promote independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
- Tailor learning experiences to meet individual learner needs and targets.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience teaching the ILS curriculum.
- Strong understanding of the aims and outcomes of Independent Living Skills education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with learners with complex additional learning needs.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
Working Hours:
- Wednesday Morning 3 hours
- Thursday Morning 3 hours
