Job Description

Lecturer Independent Living Skills (ILS)

  • Supporting a college in Rhondda Cynon Taff
  • £25-£30 per hour
  • Temporary ongoing basis

We are currently supporting a college in Rhondda Cynon Taff in their search for a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Independent Living Skills (ILS) to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to empowering learners with complex additional learning needs through inclusive and personalised teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging ILS sessions that promote independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
  • Tailor learning experiences to meet individual learner needs and targets.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience teaching the ILS curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of the aims and outcomes of Independent Living Skills education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with learners with complex additional learning needs.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

Working Hours:

  • Wednesday Morning 3 hours
  • Thursday Morning 3 hours
