KS1 Teacher – phonics specialism

Location: ScunthorpeSalary: £130-£150 per dayType: Long-term

Reed Education are currently looking to recruit a KS1 specialist to work with a Primary School in Scunthorpe. The school are Ofsted 'Good' and are looking for a motivated individual with proven experience driving progress in phonics to support with their new September intake and children moving up from EYFS into KS1.

The ideal candidate is someone that:

  • Knows the Read, Write, Inc phonics scheme inside out and is confident in delivering sessions targeted to improving low attainment.
  • Is able to differentiate learning materials and resources to accommodate children with additional needs and EAL.
  • Can teach to a high standard, with the ability to produce strong lesson plans and materials.
  • Is looking for a school that they can call home and is keen to really embed themselves as part of a team.
