Job Purpose: To lead and manage the distribution and spares department, ensuring efficient product lifecycle management, optimized inventory flow, and exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting revenue growth through effective aftersales and parts management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a robust distribution and spares strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability through efficient stock control and logistics.
- Service and Parts Development
- Oversee the development of high-quality service and parts solutions, including diagnostics, repair procedures, and spare parts kits.
- Ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation for service and parts, accessible to technicians and customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source cost-effective, high-quality components and manage procurement processes.
- Customer Support
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving distribution and service issues promptly.
- Build strong client relationships to understand needs and expectations.
- Implement customer satisfaction programs to monitor and improve service quality.
- Team Leadership
- Work closely with colleagues to determine customer requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the team.

Role Details
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (occasional weekend work may be required)
