Job Description
- Junior Network Engineer
- Liverpool – 5 days a week in the office
- £25,000 – £28,000 (DOE)
Our client is currently on the lookout for a Junior Network Engineer where you will be part of a dynamic and supportive technical team, assisting in the delivery and support of network solutions for our diverse customer base across the Public Sector, Retail, and corporate environments. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands on experience with a range of technologies including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Unified Communications, and Wi-Fi, across both cloud and on-premise environments.
Furthermore, you will support the 1st Line team by helping to troubleshoot and resolve network issues, while developing your technical skills and have the opportunity to assist with remote implementations under guidance.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, primarily assisting with 1st Line escalations
- Help monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and Unified Communications environments
- Assist with remote implementation tasks under the guidance of senior engineers
- Participate in training and development programmes to build your technical expertise
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and best practices in networking
