- Location: 4 Fully on-site roles in London, West Midlands, Manchester and North East England
- 5 weeks contract
- £400 - £500 per day via Umbrella
- Enhanced DBS will be needed for the role

We are looking for a Professional Services Engineer to join our Implementation & Consultancy Services Division. This role is crucial for implementing broadband technical solutions in customer environments, ensuring high standards and effective delivery from projects into service. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on projects.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Implement all broadband technical deliverables, ensuring high standards are met.
- Maintain and update broadband implementation documentation.
- Keep technical skills current and deepen understanding of all supplied broadband products and services.
- Work closely with key external stakeholders, providing reassurance and regular updates on the progress of technical deliverables.
- Review and accept work instructions from the Broadband Development Teams or ICS Technical Architecture Teams.
- Deliver to the defined broadband acceptance criteria and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot network issues and related problems during customer change requests.
- Build, configure, and install network and IP Telephony infrastructure-related hardware and software.
- Provide support and governance by assisting team members, capturing changes in work instructions, and offering expertise on technical aspects of customer complaints related to implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is preferable.
- Experience working in an ISP environment.
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Comprehensive knowledge of VPNs, network security, routing, and switching.
- Proficiency in Hyper-V and VMware Administration, MS Windows Server installations, and Network Active Directory Printer Installations.
- Ability to work independently and manage customer changes relating to Telecoms.
- Experience in providing remote broadband and VOIP installation services.
