Invigilator
- Hourly Rate: (£15 paye) (£17 umbrella)

- Job Type: Temporary (Specific dates: November 25, January 26, and May/June 26)
We are seeking experienced Invigilators to oversee examinations on specific dates in November, January, and May/June. This role is ideal for candidates who have recently completed invigilation training and are up-to-date with necessary certifications, including SG & Prevent training.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Ensure a calm environment to conduct examinations, maintaining the integrity and security of the examination process.
- Monitor examinees during exams to ensure a secure, quiet atmosphere.
- Assist in setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment, and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures.
- Explain exam rules and regulations and ensure they are adhered to.
- Distribute and collect exam papers, and ensure that candidates do not talk once inside the examination venue.
- Deal with any queries raised by students and ensure they are comfortable and properly informed.
- Check attendance and record details as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recent experience as an Invigilator.
- Completed invigilation training.
- Certificates in SG & Prevent training, or willingness to update these certifications if out of date.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and authoritative in a formal exam environment.
- Good communication skills.
