We are seeking a skilled Installation Electrician to join our Clients dynamic team, working on exciting new utility installation projects across the UK. This role involves carrying out annual testing and inspections of existing installations, as well as installing and connecting new packaged plant systems. The successful candidate will work as part of a team, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Undertake work assigned, focusing on safety and precision in connecting electrical, water, and wastewater systems.
- Install SWA electric cable runs at high level, perimeter attached, or entrenched, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Test and issue safety certificates for installations once water stations are connected.
- Collaborate with other team members on running pipes and cables, either at high level or in excavations, as required.
- Work closely with project coordinators to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of installations.
- Maintain all company-issued equipment and order stock as needed for connections.
- Install Smart Meters and conduct annual safety inspections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of single and three-phase electrics.
- Proficient in correct tool selection.
- City and Guilds 18th edition certification.
- Enthusiasm for upskilling to handle more advanced installations.
