HR iTrent Implementation Specialist
- Day rate: up to £600 LTD UMB DOE
- Location: London SE1 (hybrid) part-time 4 days per week (hybrid 2/3 days in office)

We are seeking an experienced HR iTrent Implementation Specialist to join London’s Fire Service on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is crucial for planning and executing the parallel run of the iTrent system alongside the head of HR Services. The specialist will work closely with the iTrent project team and other key stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation of the HR module.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and manage the parallel run of the iTrent system in collaboration with the head of HR Services and iTrent project team members.
- Liaise with the Establishment Performance team to ensure operational moves are communicated accurately and timely during the parallel run.
- Work collaboratively with People Services iTrent superusers to ensure efficient system management and process alignment.
- Review, assess, and provide insights for improvement or adjustments in the processes and workflows set up based on extensive iTrent experience.
- Support the training of the Employee Lifecycle team and assist in drafting training notes.
- Identify and address any gaps in workflows and processes to ensure smooth parallel running.
- Establish and agree on audit processes and reports for the parallel run, and build reports using Business Objects or SQL.
- Support parallel running activities, troubleshoot issues, and provide retraining where necessary.
- Liaise with the HR Data Team on the integration of iTrent data with downstream applications such as rostering and time & attendance systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with iTrent implementation and management.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
- Proficiency in Business Objects or SQL for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot during critical phases.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and training skills.
