HR Advisor

Location: Middlesbrough (Hybrid working available)

The Opportunity: Reed HR are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join an organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers a diverse range of HR activities and the chance to develop your career in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the SHRBP to provide operational HR support across the site, ensuring effective HR practices and positive employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to managers on HR and Employee Relations issues.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and practices.
  • Manage day-to-day HR issues and ER cases.
  • Maintain accurate employment and personnel records.
  • Produce HR KPIs, management reports, and documentation.
  • Monitor and provide training to control absenteeism and workforce turnover.
  • Support key projects, including Wellbeing and DE&I agendas.
  • Drive local or organisational changes with SHRBP guidance.
  • Manage onboarding processes for new starters.
  • Ensure HR policies comply with employment legislation.

Skills and Experience:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Strong HR advisory experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HR policy and employment legislation.
