Homemaker

  • Job Type: Full-time, Temp
  • Location: Sheffield
  • Hourly Rate: £13.69

We are seeking a dedicated Homemaker to join our team, responsible for a variety of housing functions. This role includes customer care, property maintenance, and logistical support across the city. The ideal candidate will be versatile, able to handle multiple responsibilities, and committed to delivering high standards of service.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide excellent customer care and collect customer feedback.
  • Clean properties to an agreed standard and perform upholstery and carpet cleaning.
  • Install curtains, poles, tracks, and blinds, and conduct gardening tasks.
  • Manage stock, including auditing and safe management of goods in and out of the warehouse.
  • Handle abandoned furniture, recycling, sanitising, and cleaning pre-used goods.
  • Conduct P.A.T testing and pallet stacking using a counterbalance forklift truck.
  • Assist in managing health and safety procedures and perform administrative duties.
  • Some responsibilities may require working outside normal office hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within housing or property management.
  • Proficiency in handling various physical tasks such as cleaning, gardening, and lifting.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and comfortable performing administrative duties.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours as required.
  • Licensed to drive 7.5 tonne vehicles preferable.
