We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school in Godalming on a temporary basis for one year. This role involves teaching the National Curriculum and supporting individual student needs, making it ideal for someone passionate about educational development and drama.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students\' varying needs and interests.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing timely feedback to encourage and motivate learners.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, addressing any individual needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience working in UK schools.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Drama.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
