Day-to-day of the role:

  • Horticultural Maintenance: Operate machinery like ride-on mowers and use hand tools for grass cutting, hedge trimming, and pruning.

  • General Maintenance: Conduct litter picking, remove fly-tipped rubbish, and install dog bins.

  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients as required to discuss maintenance needs and feedback.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete and record Waste Transfer Notes in compliance with legislation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Responsible for driving and maintaining council vehicles.

  • Performance: Achieve performance targets as outlined in Service Level Agreements.
