Then this is the role for you, we have been retained to work with an established SME Property Management & Land Business that is looking to bring in a Financial Controller into their established organisation. This role is the right hand to the Managing Director in the day to day running of the business and driving the business forwards.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the finance function, providing strategic insight and robust financial control. This is a pivotal role for the business, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making and drive performance in a dynamic SME environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review & approve Monthly Management Accounts, preparing full board reporting packs
- Preparing cashflow forecasting & 3 year plan
- Annual budgeting & forecasting
- Preparation & reconciliation of service charge budgets & charge out register
- Assisting Managing Director with insurance reviews
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including accountants, banks & solicitors
- General day to day corporation & operational administrative tasks
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role within an SME environment
- Strong technical accounting skills with a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative
- Proficient in Sage (desirable)
