Reed Accountancy are delighted to be supporting our Coventry-based client with the recruitment of a Financial Controller. We are seeking an experienced individual with expertise in management and financial accounting, as well as managing a small team of approximately five co-workers. The role involves reporting into the business Directors to ensure the integrity of all financial records, providing financial control, and managing the operating cashflow of the business.
Main Duties:
- Management Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Year-End Statutory Accounting
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Year-on-Year Variance Analysis
- Financial Modelling
- Monthly Payroll – full cycle
- P&L Reporting
- VAT Returns
- XERO experience would be highly advantageous
- Management of the wider accounting team
This role would suit candidates with similar experience, particularly those from service-providing sectors, although this is not a prerequisite. The ideal candidate will be qualified with ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAEW, or similar. Individuals who are part-qualified or qualified by experience are very much welcomed to apply.
