We are excited to announce that due to our expansion plans and continued success, our client is seeking a dynamic Facilities and Maintenance Assistant to join the team at the Head Office in Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Accurately input information onto databases or other reporting systems, including compliance certificates, quotes, and invoices.
- Log maintenance jobs on the internal system and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with stores and contractors to coordinate maintenance works efficiently.
- Reconcile contractor job lists to confirm completion of all tasks.
- Respond to emerging problems, finding suitable solutions that satisfy all parties involved.
- Maintain excellent relationships with both team members and clients.
- Keep accurate records and assist in the collation of monthly reports.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organise, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
