Reed Further Education are working with a further education provider who are looking for candidates to assist/invigilate during exams scheduled for April and May. This is a temporary role requiring commitment on specific dates for each sitting. Candidates must be available to work both days for their assigned sitting.
Working Hours: 7:30 to 18:00 (some flexibility is required on end time)
Role type: Temporary
1st sitting: 28th and 29th April
2nd sitting: 30th April and 1st May
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £15p/h including holiday pay
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of exam venues.
- Provide support in managing the flow of exam participants.
- Ensure all exam materials and equipment are prepared and available as needed.
- Help maintain a quiet and orderly environment suitable for exam conditions.
- Address any immediate needs or queries from exam participants or staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work long hours on assigned dates and have flexibility to end time.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in event support, exam invigilation or education role is required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to handle responsibilities professionally.
