About the Role: We are seeking a confident and capable Audit & Accounts Senior to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading audits, preparing accounts, and providing advisory support to a range of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and leading statutory audits from start to finish
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Liaising directly with clients and acting as a trusted advisor
- Supporting partners with business development and strategic planning
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an audit role, preferably within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
