REED Technology are currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer for an established client in the engineering sector. This is a hybrid role based in North Bristol. The salary is up to GBP63,000, with a substantial benefits package, including:
- 12.5% employer pension contribution
- A generous training budget to support development in areas where candidates may need upskilling
- Opportunities to work on high–impact Defence projects across hybrid and on–prem environments
The team is looking for a proactive, self–starting individual with strong technical knowledge across on–prem and cloud environments, and ideally experience in areas such as:
- Network security, IAM, SIEM, and threat detection
- Compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
- Security automation and scripting
- Producing security artefacts and documentation
- Experience in Operational Technology would be an added bonus
Due to the nature of the work, upper level security clearance is required. To be eligible, you must:
- Be a sole UK national (and if naturalised, have renounced any previous citizenship and been a UK citizen for at least 10 years)
- Not have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months per year in the last 10 years
