E-Commerce Amazon Advertising Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced E-Commerce Amazon Advertising Manager to own and scale the Amazon advertising program end-to-end. Working for a successful retail brand, this role will involve planning, building, and optimising various Amazon ad formats to drive profitable revenue and improve key metrics such as traffic, conversion, TACOS/ROAS, and BSR. You will leverage testing and automation to deliver measurable improvements across product listings.

Reporting into Head of Digital.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Build ASIN/category media plans with clear TACoS/ROAS and contribution margin targets.
  • Forecast demand with Supply Chain to prevent out-of-stock situations during scaling and promotions.
  • Collaborate with Marketplace/Content teams on listing SEO, images, A+, and Stores to enhance CVR.

Campaign Management (Amazon Primary)

  • Create and manage SP/SB/SD structures including match types, portfolios, and placement adjustments.
  • Implement dayparting, budget pacing, and placement multipliers using platforms like Kapoq, Perpetua, Pacvue, and Teikametrics.
  • Harvest search terms and ASINs; maintain negative lists.
  • Coordinate promotional activities such as vouchers, coupons, and Store updates with media bursts.

Optimisation & Experimentation

  • Continuously optimise bids and budgets; refine queries, placements, and audiences.
  • Conduct A/B testing for creative assets, headlines, and Store pages.
  • Focus on improving rank on priority queries while maintaining efficiency.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Develop weekly dashboards to track Sessions, Unit Session %, CVR, BSR, Share of Voice, ROAS/TACOS, and Profit per SKU.
  • Link ad performance directly to P&L components like COGS, fees, and returns.
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Compliance & Cross-Functional

  • Ensure adherence to Amazon advertising and content policies.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations to address issues impacting CVR.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 2-4 years’ experience with Amazon Ads is essential (SP/SB/SD; DSP is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver revenue growth at target TACOS/ROAS and improve BSR.
  • Proficiency in campaign management tools and rank/SEO tools such as Kapoq, Perpetua, Pacvue, Teikametrics, DataHawk, and Helium 10.
  • Strong skills in Excel/Sheets (pivots/lookups) and familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Power BI).
  • Analytical communicator with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working for an Amazon Agency, retailer, or amazon seller would be preferred
