Reed is working with a leading FMCG organisation who are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to play a pivotal role in managing customer debts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. This position is crucial for helping the business achieve its working capital and cash flow targets. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with Key Account Managers and Commercial Finance teams to resolve issues and optimise cash flow.
Responsibilities:
- Credit Control: Ensure all customers adhere to agreed payment terms and pay in full and on time.
- Investigate unpaid invoices promptly to resolve any issues.
- Process daily cash receipts on SAP and manage remittances to ensure accurate cash allocation.
- Minimise unallocated cash and maintain high accuracy in cash allocations.
- Regularly review aged debtors to identify overdue payments, analyse reasons for non-payment, and take necessary action.
- Develop and execute action plans to prioritise problem areas, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Provide regular updates to the Financial Controller on progress regarding aged debt and overdue accounts.
