Job Summary
Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the crane driving, slinging duties, despatch operations within the GFM department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overhead (Cab) crane driving in the GFM forge and Heat treatment departments.
- Pendant/remote driving in the GFM forge and Heat treatment departments.
- Slinging duties in the GFM forge and Heat treatment departments.
- General Housekeeping duties.
- Loading and unloading of material using crane and forklift truck.
- Despatching of material from the GFM department with relevant paperwork.
- Receipt inspection of incoming material and completing material inspection documentation for sub-contract work.
- Entering information onto the internal computer system.
- Assisting with heat treatment operations within the GFM.
- Perform pre-shift crane checks.
- Generate STOP card.
