Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for efficient operations in our warehouse, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that goods are secured properly.
- Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
- Store the products in proper places in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the warehouse.
- Follow proper handling procedures for all materials, including hazardous substances.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid counterbalance forklift driving license.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Excellent physical condition and coordination.
