Job Description

Clerk of Works (Nights)
  • Job Type: Contract (Short-term support)
  • Location: Warrington
  • Working Hours: 7pm to 5am, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: Flexible on pay rate

We are seeking a Clerk of Works for the Traffic Management, Road Safety and Highway Adoptions Team to supervise the construction of a Section 278 Scheme. This role involves overseeing the signalisation of a motorway junction, incorporating controlled pedestrian crossing facilities and associated shared surface routes around the gyratory. The position requires night shifts and offers flexibility in pay.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Supervise the construction works on the public highway to ensure compliance with approved drawings, traffic management arrangements, permits, and method statements.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of workmanship and materials meet the required standards.
