This role is ideal for individuals with industry experience who are looking to transition into teaching, as we provide comprehensive training for teaching in further education (FE).
Day-to-day of the role
- Deliver practical and theoretical lessons in electrical and electronic engineering to students.
- Prepare educational content and hands-on activities for classes.
- Maintain and manage classroom and laboratory equipment.
- Assist students in understanding complex technical concepts.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve course materials and teaching methods.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and technical knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience in electrical or electronic engineering.
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Willingness to undergo training for teaching qualifications if not already qualified.
