Responsibilities of this role:
- Coordinate the delivery of social services to individuals, families, and communities, ensuring effective and efficient support.
- Conduct initial assessments and reviews of situations, gathering information and making recommendations for support.
- Handle complex cases, often involving high-risk situations or specialized client groups.
- Supervise less experienced social workers, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.
- Make referrals to other agencies and participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Be involved in safeguarding assessments, planning interventions, and supporting the development of safeguarding skills in others.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Qualified Social Worker.
