Position: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum (including sleep-in allowance)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of work are flexible and determined by the needs of the service and are on a shift basis which includes early mornings and late-night shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Potential sleep overnight shifts.

Role:

  • Under the general direction of the Registered Manager, Senior Staff and Care Officers, you will work as a team to deliver a high standard of care which meets the individual needs of the children and young people both socially and emotionally.
  • To make and maintain positive relationships with the children and young people, and to safely meet the physical care and management needs of children and young people who may present challenging behaviour.
  • To offer additional and supplementary cover to the existing staff teams within children’s homes on an “as and when” basis.
