An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Litigation Solicitor (or above) to join a well-established and growing litigation team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to focus predominantly on civil litigation, offering exposure to a varied and mixed caseload and providing an ideal platform for professional development. While aimed at NQ level, candidates with post-qualification experience are also encouraged to apply, especially those with a strong background in litigation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through to resolution.
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, prospects of success, and risk.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents.
- Conduct legal research and review evidence.
- Engage in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
- Instruct and liaise with counsel and external experts.
- Represent clients at hearings where appropriate.
- Maintain high standards of client care and compliance at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Minimum Newly Qualified level (higher PQE also welcomed).
- Training or experience within civil litigation.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and case management skills.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple matters effectively and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
