We're seeking a proactive and community-focused Housing Support Officer to join a busy housing team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone experienced in tenancy support, housing management, or customer-focused public services.
The Role
- Providing a high-quality, resident-centred housing management service, including:
- Supporting residents to maintain successful tenancies
- Managing rent accounts and taking timely arrears recovery action
- Conducting tenancy sign-ups, reviews, home visits, and estate inspections
- Assisting with allocations, viewings, and the turnaround of empty homes
- Investigating and managing anti-social behaviour cases
- Working with partner agencies to support residents with welfare, benefits, and tenancy issues
