School Caretaker
Dates: To start September
Hours: 7am - 10am and 3 - 6pm
Reed Education are delighted to be supporting a primary school in Newcastle to provide them with a School Caretaker to join their team on a temporary basis. This could become a permanent role for the right candidate.
Day to Day of the role:
- Maintaining the security of the school building and grounds
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance on the building and equipment
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are upheld
- Managing the school’s key and alarm systems
- Supervising the set-up and breakdown of equipment for events and activities
- Coordinating with outside contractors for larger repairs and maintenance projects
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar role in education is preferred but not essential
- A highly motivated individual with strong communication and organisational skills
- Someone who can work independently, and collaboratively with others
- An enhanced DBS on the update service is required for this role (we can support applicants with a check if necessary)
